Also, the efficiency and ease of use of fiber-optic lines is impossible without maintaining complete, standardized documentation, which allows optimizing loading and minimizing the costs of new connections. More than 15 years of experience of our company has shown that the reliability and efficiency of fiber optic lines depend on the culture and quality of their service. In general, the maintenance of communication networks (low-current and fiber-optic lines) includes the following services:

  • In accordance with the policy of introducing electronic document management, our company’s specialists have developed our own project management system, which allows us to quickly monitor the key points of all processes occurring in the organization and quickly respond to the current situation. One of the main subsystems of this DBMS is a system for tracking the current state of the serviced communication networks and prompt access to the technical database. For the operation of this subsystem, the received technical information on the serviced communication cables is quickly converted into electronic form and structured in the form of relational databases with graphical content . This system reduces the time to access the necessary information tenfold and allows it to be presented in a visual form. The developed system is a working environment for the emergency dispatch service, which constantly updates technical information about the serviced network. For our Customers, our organization stores all technical documentation related to the serviced lines and communication networks. Also, our organization is the authority that approves the switching of serviced communication cables when removing cable ducts from the building area, repair and reconstruction of linear cable structures. The executive documentation entered into the database is continuously adjusted based on the results of emergency restoration work and work on switching optical cables .
  • - periodic external inspection of cables, inspection and marking of cables and terminal devices; - Periodic (or constant with the help of an appropriate set of software and hardware) monitoring of the condition of the PIVP (for low-current communication lines).
  • - At the initiative of the emergency service, couplings that are in a pre-emergency condition are replaced and/or repaired; - A set of control measurements on existing communication cables is periodically carried out, recommendations are issued on actions on communication cables that are in a pre-emergency condition, the time and period for carrying out preventive work is agreed upon;- Supervision is carried out during the transfer of the Customer's fiber-optic lines during the reconstruction of structures of PJSC "MGTS", State Budgetary Institution "Gormost"; - 24-hour reception from The customer reports accidents and damage to the fiber-optic line; - 24-hour readiness of personnel and equipment is ensured to carry out repair and restoration work; - A constantly renewable supply of materials and cable is provided, to which unhindered 24-hour access is provided to emergency services employees.
  • Based on the emergency letter or telephone message, the following activities are carried out: - Departure of the emergency team and measurements; - Work with archives of technical documentation; - Detection of the location of the damage and its causes; - Search for a way to restore communication as soon as possible, if it is impossible to restore communication according to a permanent scheme, it is accepted decision to restore the temporary functionality of the communication cable; - After the connection is restored and the report to the Customer, a method of restoring communication along a permanent route is selected; - An appropriate correction of the executive documentation; - Upon the fact of an accident, administrative work is carried out with the violators and technical supervision authorities (administrative and technical inspection).
  • Work on switching and reconstruction of optical cables in connection with the reconstruction of the telephone sewer system.
